Polyurea is a 100% solids, plural-component coating that gel-sets in seconds and returns to service in minutes. Compared to epoxies or urethanes it offers faster cure, higher elongation (300%+), better abrasion and chemical resistance, and zero VOC — which is why it's the go-to for bed liners, roofing, containment and waterproofing.

We're an authorized Graco distributor and also carry PMC and IPM proportioners, Fusion and PMC spray guns, heated hose, generators and compressors. Our in-house techs service what we sell, and we stock common wear parts for same-day shipment.

If you are working to a deadline, tell us the date when you call — we can usually work backwards from it and tell you honestly whether it is achievable.

The universal rule is clean, dry and sound. The substrate has to be free of dust, dirt, grease, oil, release agents, loose material and failing existing coatings, and it has to be dry — moisture in or on the substrate is behind a large share of the adhesion failures we get called about.

Temperature matters as much as cleanliness. Most closed-cell foam systems want substrate temperatures above 40°F, and ambient temperature, humidity and substrate moisture all affect the result. Our high-yield winter formulations extend the working season considerably if you spray through the cold months.

Concrete and some metal substrates usually want a primer — we stock OR 811 single-component polyurea primer, OR 7001 single-component polyurethane primer and OR E41 water-based epoxy primer for exactly this. Prep specifics vary by product, so always work to the Technical Data Sheet for the system you are spraying; every TDS is in our Resources library, and the tech line is 800-625-9577.

They do completely different jobs, and plenty of projects use both.

Spray polyurethane foam is an insulating and air-sealing material. You use it to insulate walls, attics, crawl spaces, pole barns and metal buildings, to build up SPF roofing systems, or — as a high-density formulation — to lift and stabilise concrete.

Polyurea is a protective coating, not an insulator. It is a 100% solids, plural-component material that gel-sets in seconds and returns to service in minutes, with high elongation, strong abrasion and chemical resistance and zero VOC. That is why it goes on truck beds, secondary containment, tanks, decks, waterproofing membranes and industrial floors.

A common combination is foam for the insulation or roofing substrate and a coating over the top for protection. If you are not sure which side of that line your job falls on, call 800-625-9577 and describe the job — we would rather talk it through than have you buy the wrong material.

Density is the headline difference. Our open-cell systems are roughly 0.5 lb material — lighter, softer and more open-structured. Closed-cell systems run roughly 2.0–2.8 lb and are denser and more rigid, which is why closed-cell is the usual choice where moisture, rigidity or exterior exposure matter, and where a higher-density high-yield system is called for.

We supply both, along with roofing, agricultural and specialty high-yield systems, in Oak Ridge formulations and lines from NCFI and other manufacturers. DC-315 is a water-based intumescent coating, tested and recognised as an alternative 15-minute thermal barrier and ignition barrier over spray polyurethane foam. It is applied by airless sprayer directly over cured foam at the film thickness specified in the evaluation report for your assembly.

Building codes generally require SPF to be separated from interior living spaces by an approved thermal barrier — half-inch gypsum board is the widely accepted baseline under the IBC and IRC. Ignition barriers are the less stringent requirement, used in spaces not normally occupied such as attics and crawl spaces. DC-315 lets a lot of SPF installations meet those requirements in attics, crawl spaces and exposed-foam applications without hanging drywall.

Codes vary locally and inspections will check this, so always confirm the requirement for your jurisdiction and assembly, work to the listed film thickness in the evaluation report, and document what you installed. The DC-315 data sheet and application guide are in our Resources library.

Spray foam applicator training is a one day course. One day — that is the whole commitment.

It is hands-on, run by people who spray for a living, and it covers equipment startup, shutdown and daily maintenance, mix ratios, pressures and temperatures, spray technique and yield, substrate preparation, foam and coating chemistry in plain language, job-site safety and PPE, and troubleshooting the problems you will actually hit in the field.

We run it at our Green Lake, Wisconsin facility, and we will also come to you and run it on-site at your shop. At minimum you need a plural-component proportioner, heated hose, a spray gun, and the power and air to run them — normally a generator and a compressor — plus somewhere to put it all.

On guns we stock the Graco Fusion AP and Fusion PC alongside PMC guns, plus heated hose, drum transfer pumps, cleaners and purge solvents, and the common wear parts for same-day shipment.

Which proportioner you need depends on the material and the output you want to run, so call our team before you buy — matching the machine to the material is the single most common mistake we help new contractors avoid. Our in-house techs also service what we sell.

It depends on how you work, and we build all of them in-house.

A skid unit is the cheapest way in and drops into a vehicle you already own — good if you have a truck bed or a van and want to keep the investment down. An enclosed trailer (we build 12–24 ft) gives you a dedicated, lockable, insulated workspace you can drop on site and leave. A box truck or van rig is the choice when you want a single vehicle, quicker setup between jobs, and easier parking on tight urban sites.

No minimum for most in-stock materials — order a single set or a full truckload. Volume discounts kick in at multi-set quantities, and high-yield buyers qualify for trade accounts with net terms.

A legitimate, active business in spray foam, polyurea, coatings, roofing, construction or industrial supply — with whatever licensing and insurance your state requires. You do not need a storefront; many of our dealers run a mobile spray business.

Beyond that we look for hands-on capability (you spray it, you employ crews who do, or you sell to people who do), a realistically defined territory you actually service, a willingness to run our applicator training before putting material on a job, and straight dealing with customers — our name goes on the job alongside yours.

Then there is a short discovery call — what you spray or sell, the territory you cover, expected volume, and which product lines make sense to start with. We check what territory arrangement is available in your area and tell you honestly whether that is preferred or exclusive. We set your dealer pricing tier based on expected volume; tiers move up as you grow and there is no hard minimum order to get started.

Territory arrangements are discussed during the approval process. Preferred territory is the normal starting point: while you are active and meeting volume guidelines we will not go recruiting a competing dealer in your area. Fully exclusive territory agreements are available for high-volume accounts.

We would rather protect a territory you genuinely dominate than one you occasionally visit, so be realistic about coverage on your application — it makes the conversation faster and the arrangement better.
