Commercial Roof Coatings
— Led by OR-80SLM Pure Polyurea
Nearly a dozen roof coatings from one supplier. Our flagship OR-80SLM Silver Lining Membrane is a 100% solids pure polyurea with Miami-Dade NOA approval, ASTM D6083 validation and certified hail resistance — backed by silicone, acrylic, polyurethane and closed-cell spray foam options for every roof and every budget.
What Is OR-80SLM?
Not Acrylic. Not Silicone. Not Polyurethane. Pure Polyurea.
The OR-80SLM Silver Lining Membrane is a 100% solids, two-component pure polyurea roofing system — a fundamentally different chemistry than the acrylic, silicone, or polyurethane coatings that dominate the commodity coating market. When an isocyanate reacts with a fast-reacting polyamine blend at high temperature and pressure, the result is a near-instantaneous crosslinked elastomer with physical properties no other spray-applied roofing coating can match.
Applied by plural-component spray equipment (Graco, PMC, or IPM proportioners), OR-80SLM builds a seamless, monolithic membrane at 40–80 mils thickness in a single pass — no seams, no fasteners, no lap joints. Every drain, curb, HVAC penetration, and parapet detail is coated in-place with no membrane discontinuities. That's why it earned Miami-Dade NOA approval for use in hurricane-zone construction where membrane integrity under extreme wind and rain is a code requirement.
Walk-able in minutes after application. ASTM D6083 validated for elongation, tensile strength, and weathering. Independently hail-damage tested. This is the roof coating designed for roofs that cannot fail.
Why OR-80SLM
Three Reasons Contractors Specify Pure Polyurea
These aren't marketing claims — they're independent third-party certifications that took years of testing to earn and that no acrylic or silicone coating holds.
Built for Hurricane Zones
Miami-Dade County's Notice of Acceptance is the most stringent roofing product approval in the United States — it requires independent laboratory verification of wind uplift resistance, water penetration, and membrane integrity under hurricane-force conditions. OR-80SLM holds this approval, making it a code-compliant choice for Florida, coastal Gulf states, and any project where the engineer of record requires proven wind-zone performance. No other pure polyurea roofing membrane has cleared this bar.
Skip the TPO Tear-Off
A conventional TPO or EPDM re-roof requires tearing off the existing membrane, disposing of the old material, and installing new sheet goods with mechanically fastened laps that create every failure point the old membrane had. OR-80SLM goes over existing substrates — foam roofs, TPO, EPDM, metal, concrete — without tear-off. A skilled crew can spray a full roof in a fraction of the time, return the building to service the same day, and never create a landfill load of old membrane. The math on 40-year roof life cycle is rarely close.
One Continuous Film. No Joints.
Industry data shows that more than 80% of roofing failures originate at seams, laps, or fastener locations — the exact features a spray-applied membrane eliminates. OR-80SLM forms a single, uninterrupted elastomeric film from edge to edge. Every parapet, drain collar, HVAC curb, and pipe penetration is coated in-place with no mechanical joints that can open under thermal cycling. Maintenance recoating — without tear-off — extends service life indefinitely.
Applications
Every Roof. Every Substrate.
OR-80SLM bonds directly to the substrates roofing contractors encounter most — with no primer required on most properly prepared surfaces.
Flat & Low-Slope Roofs
The primary application — built-up, modified bitumen, and bare concrete decks. Spray-applied at 40+ mils over the entire field, flashing, and detail areas in one continuous pass.
Metal Roofs
Bonds directly to steel and aluminum panels — sealing fastener penetrations, lap seams, and ridge caps that are the primary leak sources on aged metal roofing systems.
Foam Roofs (SPF Recovery)
Applied over existing spray polyurethane foam roofing systems as a renewal topcoat — restoring waterproofing integrity and UV protection without removing the insulation substrate.
Commercial & Industrial
Warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing plants, and big-box retail rooftops — large flat fields where spray application speed makes OR-80SLM the most economical choice per square foot.
Concrete Decks
Exposed concrete roof decks and plaza decks benefit from the extreme elongation of polyurea, which bridges thermal cracks and expansion joints that would tear a rigid coating system.
TPO & EPDM Remediation
Over failed or aged TPO and EPDM membranes that don't warrant full tear-off — OR-80SLM encapsulates the existing system and restores watertight performance without the cost or disruption of replacement.

Application Equipment
Requires Plural-Component Spray Equipment
Pure polyurea chemistry requires plural-component proportioning equipment that heats both components to 140–160°F and delivers them at 2,000+ psi with accurate 1:1 volumetric ratio control. This is not a roller-applied product. The equipment is what makes the near-instantaneous cure possible — and what separates this system from every commodity coating in a bucket.
Hydraulic and electric proportioners with independent zone heating and ratio monitoring — the most common platform for professional polyurea roofing crews.
High-output hydraulic machines with programmable diagnostics. Oak Ridge supplies and supports PMC equipment alongside our coatings — one source for material and machine.

Warranty
Backed by an Oak Ridge Warranty
OR-80SLM installed by trained applicators using ORFC-supplied materials is eligible for an Oak Ridge system warranty. Because we manufacture the membrane and supply the equipment, we can stand behind the complete system — not just the coating in a drum.
For specification support, custom system design, or warranty eligibility questions, call Oak Ridge direct. Our team has installed these systems — not just sold them.
800-625-9577The Complete Line-Up
Almost a dozen roof coatings. One supplier.
OR-80SLM is our flagship, but it isn't the right answer for every roof. Oak Ridge stocks the full range of roofing chemistries — pure polyurea, silicone in both high- and low-solids, water-borne acrylic elastomeric, and 100% solids polyurethane — plus the closed-cell spray foam that goes underneath them. One purchase order, one delivery, one technical team that has actually sprayed all of it.
Pure Polyurea
6 productsTwo-component, plural-component sprayed. Sets in seconds, builds 40–80 mils in one pass, and stays flexible. The premium answer where failure is not an option.

Primers & tie coats
Adhesion is where most roof coatings actually fail. Match the primer to the substrate.
Spray Foam Roofing
We do the foam under the coating, too.
A sprayed polyurethane foam (SPF) roof solves two problems in one pass: it re-slopes a ponding roof and adds R-6.5 per inch of continuous insulation, with no fasteners and no seams. Then it needs a top coat — and that is exactly what the line-up above is for.
Because Oak Ridge supplies both halves, the foam and the coating are specified together and shipped together. No chasing two vendors when a compatibility question comes up mid-job.
